The Muscogee Nation partners with local, regional, and international partners throughout the world. Here are a few examples of community partnerships that foster collaboration, growth, and commitment to our reservation. Mvto (Thank You)
Broken Arrow: Broken Arrow was formed in 1902 and named for the Muscogee (Creek) settlement of Native Americans who were forced from their homes during the Trail of Tears. From statehood forward Broken Arrow would be a driving force in Oklahoma’s history. From electing the first female mayor in Oklahoma in 1931 to hosting the longest-running festival in Oklahoma, of Rooster Days and being home to the award-winning downtown area, the Rose District, Broken Arrow is a town blooming with opportunity.
Jenks: Jenks is a prosperous city for the arts, education, business, entertainment and community. Visitors can expect small-town charm, unique food and shopping destinations, and a friendly community when visiting for a weekend. Discover Jenks
Jenks is uniquely nestled along the Arkansas River, and Riverwalk is the region’s premier waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Just across the bridge sits River Spirit Casino Resort. River Spirit boasts one of the largest gaming floors in Oklahoma and is home to Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville casino and restaurant. The community is also home to the Oklahoma Aquarium, which boasts the biggest collection of bull sharks.
